We can start with Friday, I believe.
I go into town to take care of a few different things. Get my oil changed, because I think I might be traveling further distances more in the near future. I go to Kris' for a bit, come back home, and mow. As I'm putting the mower back into the barn I hit something and it explodes and sprays all over me. Fuck yeah.
But I go shower, I get out, have a couple of texts from Scott. One of his friends is gonna be the DJ at one of the bars in town. I hate Greensburg bars; I've been to one, and that was actually earlier this year (...or late last year. I can't remember exactly). But he talks me into going, I figure we'll stay there about half an hour then go hang out. I drive up to the square, we walk over to The Beach, step inside. We go to order drinks and they ask for my ID. I hand it over and the waitress stares at it a few seconds. She looks over at the guy next to her. "What do you think?" she asks him. He says, "I don't know...." Then he shakes his head.
"You gotta go," they say.
"What?" I ask.
"Yeah, the person in the photo is way too old to be you."
....Wait, what? I had to get my ID replaced around October-ish, so it's pretty up to date. They made me take off my glasses and tie my hair back when they took the photo. But I argue with the bartenders a little bit.
"No, that isn't you," they say.
"Do you want me to pull my hair back?" I ask, a little frustrated. I'm fucking 24 years old.
"No, you gotta go, that isn't you. That's your uncle or someone, get outta here."
.........
Seriously. SERIOUSLY??? So the first time I get kicked out of a bar was because they thought my REAL ID with my REAL picture was one I stole from someone I knew. I always figured I'd be, you know... belligerent. Or at the very least, drunk. Well, that kind of shit could only happen to me, lol.
Anyways, Saturday. I decide to go to Franklin since it was GGP weekend. You'd think since some of the time I'm not too far away that I'd visit more, but ehh.... I just haven't had a greatly huge desire to see everyone all at once too often. I miss everyone, but I don't get the motivation too often. =\
I get on campus though, run into a few old friends. Drop my stuff off in my friend's room, go back out and enjoy the festivities that are set up around campus. Justin, Mary, Alex, and I hit up the bumper cars and bash each other around, that was a blast, then we all race each other through the obstacle course.... It was the most fun I'd had in a long time.
Three carloads of us decide to go to dinner at Mi Puebs; we get there and it looks like the line is outside the door, so we pass it up for Chili's. As we drive by, we realize it's just a bunch of people standing outside, however. We go on to Chili's anyways though. I get to catch up with some a few old friends and then some even older friends from last year that transferred, etc. I usually see Amanda and Ben once a semester so that was a nice added bonus. We get back on campus, pre-game before the parties, then head out. It was fun to just go out, drink, dance, run into old friends. I make it back to my friend's room, steal Cassy's cheeseburgers (she left them out and went to her own room....that's fair game for drunk people, lol), then fall asleep. I remember at one point I was watching TV before the storms hit and the Shamwow Remix came on TV as a commercial. The only person up and texting me was one of my stoner friends so communication was....limited.... to say the best, hahaha. I was so fucking confused, seeing that on TV!
Sunday...wake up, Cassy asks me about her missing burgers, I beat around the bush on who my accomplice was (YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE! =P), hang out with Tom and Darrel for a while and play some Rockband. Darrel leaves, so Tom, Alex, and I start an Arrested Development marathon. I tried to do this with friends back home and they were completely deadpan. On campus, we were in hysterics. I'm sad that my friends back home can't appreciate the brilliance, but I'll bash on some of their choices, lol. It takes a special kind of awesome to appreciate AD. I hope we can finish the series before the semester is over. I'll have to go back to Franklin soon, but more on that later.
Later in the night I try to fall asleep, but it's rough. I flip through TV, catch the Boondocks season premiere, then ATHF's 100th episode. After that though, things were pretty dead. I watch Dateline's to Catch A Predator. Chris Hansen is a douchebag. I have this huge desire to see him actually caught as a pedo, hahaha.
It was just great seeing everyone throughout the weekend; I saw almost ALL of my Franklin friends, with like 3 exceptions of the ones still living in the area. This weekend was everything my "going away" party back in Feb. should have been. The one bad part about it though was that I was sooooo out of the loop on everything... and when people asked me what was going on in my life, I usually just said "nothing's really happened since I left."
Monday morning... I wake up, start packing my stuff up, and get ready to leave campus. I deposit my tax checks into my bank account. I call around to a few different Mac places because I have a slight issue with Lappy2:
I meant to discuss this earlier when it happened, but life piled up. So I just can't have nice things in life. My phone...well, it's bad, lol. My car's spoiler is laying alongside some distant interstate that I don't even know, and now that happens to Lappy2. I guess Lappy2 is actually a girl. Hurhurhur. Everyone knows I'm prone to accidents, either drunken or otherwise, but that happened without my intervention. I was just sitting here typing one night and I heard a little "crack" and I look....and there. So anyways, I'm calling up Mac authorized retailers to see if they can fix this; none can.
We gotta drive to Keystone. Cool. I opt not to drive because I'm so tired. Before we leave, however, I leave my car's windows open a crack because some of my shit is still packed in it, and it's a warm day. But it's sunny and nice, yeah? Yeah, you know what'll eventually happen.
We go to Keystone though. We decide to take 31 up. And we're driving, and we're by Borders before I give any thought to anything else in the area. For a moment I was just like "oh, I didn't think about that or even check." Then I was like "ohh." And I went right back to conversing.
When we get to Keystone we have a little time to kill, so we eat and walk around for a bit. We eventually go to the Applestore though; they say it's covered under warranty... but they have to order a whole other bottom plate for the computer. So I have to go back through the area here in a few days. Hurpadurp.
As we're figuring this out, however, one fucking song starts to play over the Apple Store's radio. Wonderwall. In Keystone. The Applestore. The place I was supposed to go to a while ago with someone originally when I was going to buy Lappy2. Fuck Wonderwall. iTunes hasn't been playing it too often, but it does pop up just enough at either inopportune or.... coincidental... times. It's hard not to have a little emotional outburst, but I somehow manage. To note, with this fresh on my mind, I did remember to check on the way back down 31.
The guy helping me at the store was really nice though and we chatted, turns out he was from my area. I pick up a mini-display to VGA adapter..... so now I can use lappy at my desk and use my monitor again! This is big news for me, because now I can write much easier. Thanks, state of Indiana tax check, for providing the cash for that.
When we walk outta the mall, however, it's sprinkling. As we drive further and further away from Keystone, more south, there's thunder, lightning, it's pouring rain.... remember when I said I left my windows cracked? Oh yeah. Fortunately we beat the greater part of the storm south and my interior was, for the most part, completely dry.
So here I am now, tired and ready to sleep. I'm glad I'll be sleeping in an actual bed again tonight =D
I was going to write about a couple of other relevant things, but I believe I'll separate them into another topic that I'll try to post in a couple of days or so.

i knew someone would question your id someday...lol...can u imagine if u cut your hair? wow. i would have been sooooo pissed. you shoulda pulled out more identification such as debit cards(wait u prolly still dont have one) or even an old school id.ugh. what exactly is happening to your lappy2? it's hard to tell in the photos?
